Yes, you are thinking to yourself, "I thought it was just Nic and Ashley.” Well, you are correct if you count only those that walk on two feet. Throw in those that walk on four feet and it makes four beings that are already in this family. I feel sure that if you asked Solomon or Bella they would agree. They both feel that they are supremely important to this family, and they are. Solomon's voracious appetite for his cat food is often Nic's alarm clock in the morning and Bella's constant need to cuddle is such a comfort to both of us. However, what is going to happen when sweet Julianna comes into the picture and Mom and Dad can't devote as much time to either of them? We are not sure, but we hope our sweet fur children adjust to their new human sibling. We frequently try to prepare them by cooing and making over a pink blanket as if it were the baby. (This was a suggestion we were given in one of our birthing classes.) Yes, it may make Nic and me look a bit ridiculous, but we are hoping it will make the transition a little easier. We will keep you posted on their progress as the Belcher family expands. :) Hope everyone is well! The Belchers
